Debbie Ferruzzi is the Executive Director of BeCause Foundation. As the former Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy for Equity Office Properties Trust (EOP), Debbie led the development of EOP's long-term growth strategy and managed the company's strategic planning process. She also was instrumental in developing and chairing the company's National Philanthropic Committee, which focused on children's health and welfare. Prior to joining Equity Office, Debbie held a variety of roles in her 25 year career with Sam Zell's various real estate companies.
Prior to joining BeCause Foundation, Debbie was a board member for the Chicago Children's Advocacy Center, and served on the Leadership Council of the Chicago Public Education Fund. She holds an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Chicago, and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Eastern Illinois University.
